This page is for leadership. Only leaders (R4 and above) can award ranks.
When an event ends, you put the players in order and award their ranks. Awarding the ranks also publishes the results. You no longer need a separate publish step.

Award ranks in the app

  1. Open the event’s dashboard.
  2. In the Ranks section, drag players into order. The note next to each rank is that player’s point cap.
  3. Select Set ranks.
The results now show on the Events tab and in the Discord /events menu. Players see their new rank right away. To change the order later, select Edit ranks. The published results update at once.
The publish button under Tell the alliance was removed. You can still use Tell the alliance to send your own results mail or a ready check.

Award ranks on Discord

  1. Type /events-admin in your kingdom’s Discord server.
  2. Select Award ranks.
  3. Pick the event. A form opens.
  4. Enter the players in rank order and submit the form.
The bot confirms the award. The event closes and its results show to members right away.

Post the results on the bulletin board or mail the alliance

Awarding ranks shows the results to members, but it does not send any mail. To share the list more widely, use Results mail:
  1. Type /events-admin in your kingdom’s Discord server.
  2. Select Results mail.
  3. Pick the event. The bot shows a preview of the mail first.
  4. Choose where to send it:
    • Set publish to true to post the list on the bulletin board.
    • Set mail to true to send it to the alliance as alliance mail.
You can turn on one or both.

Where players see results

  • The Results card on the Events tab lists every event that has ranks, newest first.
  • On Discord, players see the same list in the /events menu.
Setting ranks does not post anything to the bulletin board. To do that, use the results mail. Players you removed from the event are not ranked and do not appear in the results.

Ranks without a cap

When you rank an event, you can give each rank a cap. If a rank has no cap, results lists end after the player’s name. For example: 1. kat (#42). Earlier versions showed “cap not set” instead. This applies to the results mail, the copied mail template, the events home page, and Discord results.
