Vanguard plays the repetitive parts of Rise of Kingdoms for you. It talks to the game the same way the game’s own buttons do, so it never clicks, never reads the screen and never moves your mouse. The game can stay minimised while Vanguard works, and game updates that move buttons around do not break it. This guide covers two apps:
  • Vanguard: the desktop app that drives one Rise of Kingdoms game running on your PC (PC client or emulator).
  • Vanguard Hub: one window that runs many accounts at once, with no game or emulator open at all.

What Vanguard can do

Chores

Build and upgrade, research, alliance help and gifts, quests, collecting and event turn-ins.

Military

Train and heal troops, auto shield, barbarian hunts, fort rallies, rally rush and teleport.

Dailies

Free daily claims, Blacksmith materials, Expedition, Sunset Canyon and the State Forum.

Gather

Keep every march farming resources or gems.

Built to be safe

  • DRY-RUN first. In DRY-RUN Vanguard only plans and sends nothing, so you can see exactly what it would do.
  • Never buys anything. Vanguard only uses items you already own and never spends gems.
  • Paced like a person. Random pauses, timer randomness, a nightly rest window and daily caps. See Staying safe.

Quickstart

Attach Vanguard to your game and run your first loop.

Vanguard Hub

Run many accounts at once without a game.
Vanguard Farm is a lighter edition of Vanguard. It collects production and territory resources, turns in event items, gathers (never gems) and joins or starts fort rallies.
Vanguard 1.0 is the first release under the Vanguard name. An install from before 1.0 updates itself into Vanguard as an upgrade of the same app, and an old shortcut still opens it.
