This page is for alliance leadership only. Only R5 and heirs can use these commands in game. In Discord, only members with the leadership role can use them.
Alerts let the bot keep an eye on a governor so you don’t have to keep running !shield. There are two kinds:
  • Shield alert: warns you shortly before a governor’s peace shield ends.
  • Teleport alert: tells you every time a governor moves their city.
Use them to time a rally for the moment a shield drops, or to track where a target goes. To watch many players at once on a live board with alert DMs, use activity watch.

Set a shield alert

Type !shieldalert followed by a governor name or ID. The bot warns you 5 minutes before the shield ends.
To get the warning earlier, add how long before, from 1m up to 24h. See How to write a time.
The bot first checks the shield, then replies in the same channel:
If the governor has no shield, or the bot can’t see the city, it replies no shield or shield not readable and no alert is set.

What a shield alert tells you

While the alert is running, the bot posts in the channel where you set it:

Set a teleport alert

Type !tpalert followed by a governor name or ID. The bot watches for 24 hours.
To watch for a different length of time, add a duration from 1h up to 7d. See How to write a time.
The bot replies with where the city is now:
After that, the bot posts Kozan teleported: ... every time the city moves. When the time is up, it posts Kozan: teleport alert ended. If the bot can’t find the city when you set the alert, it replies Kozan: position not readable and no alert is set.

How to write a time

Add the time after the governor name. Use d for days, h for hours, and m for minutes. You can combine them. For example, !tpalert Kozan 90 watches Kozan for 90 minutes, not 90 hours.

See and stop your alerts

Type !alerts to list every alert your alliance has running.
To stop an alert, add off before the name:
To change an alert, run the same command again with the new time. The bot replies alert updated.

Use alerts in Discord

Leadership can use the same alerts from Discord: Write lead and duration the same way as in game. If the time isn’t written correctly, the bot replies lead must look like 15m, 1h30m or 2d. (or the same for duration). To stop an alert from Discord, run /shieldalert or /tpalert and set stop to Yes, stop it. Alerts started in Discord post through your alliance’s alerts webhook in Discord. If your alliance hasn’t set one, the bot replies No AM webhook set for alerts.

How often the bot checks

By default, the bot checks each watched governor every 5 minutes. Leadership can change this in Discord with /bot-config. Pick Shield/teleport alert check interval (minutes 1-60) and enter a number of minutes from 1 to 60. A shorter interval catches teleports and early shield drops sooner.

Limits and good to know

  • Your alliance can have up to 20 alerts running at once. After that, the bot replies alert limit reached (20).
  • If the bot can’t see the city three checks in a row, it posts alert stopped, city not readable and stops the alert.
  • Alerts only work for cities on the map the bot is on: your home kingdom, or the shared map during KvK.
  • Alerts use the same Shield Check feature as !shield. When it’s turned off, you can’t set alerts.
  • In game, these commands only work in your council group chat, alliance chat, or a private message to the bot. Anywhere else, the bot ignores them.
  • Type !help intel in the council chat to see these commands in game.
  • To watch many players on one live board with alert DMs, use activity watch.
