The War Map shows your kingdom’s current KvK map as the in-game helper last saw it. The helper scans the whole map every 4 hours. Use it to find unshielded cities, look up a player’s stats and commanders, see who holds and garrisons each pass, holy site, fort, and flag, and estimate each alliance’s crystal.

Open the War Map

Open the War Room tab and pick the War Map sub-tab. On the web, the map opens in place. On mobile, tap Open War Map to open it. Every signed-in member can view the map.

Scan age and scan picker

The map always shows how old the scan is, for example Scanned 2h ago. Use the scan picker to switch to an earlier scan. Sovereign Sigil keeps the last 12 complete scans per kingdom. A scan counts only once the helper finishes it. If a scan stops partway, the map keeps showing the last complete scan. If your kingdom has not been scanned yet, the map says No map scan yet instead of showing an empty map.

What each city shows

Hover a city to see:
  • Shield status: Shielded with the time left (for example “Shielded - 3h 12m left”), No shield, or expired. Shield times count down from now, while positions are as of the scan.
  • Zone: the zone the city stands in, such as Zone 3.
  • Territory: whether the city is on or off alliance territory, and whose territory it is on.
Cities draw as dots when you zoom out below 1x. Names appear from 2x zoom.

Player panel

Click or tap a city to open the Player tab in the drawer. A gold ring marks the city on the map. The tab shows:
  • Status: shield, wall (Empty or Defended), territory, zone, and coordinates. Click Go to city to center the map on it.
  • Online or Last online: when the player was last seen in the game.
  • Stats: power, kill points, deaths, T4 and T5 kills, and VIP level.
  • Commanders: every commander seen on this player in uploaded battle reports, with level, stars, skills, formation, each piece of equipment (quality, awakening, and refinement), and armament inscriptions. The panel uses the newest 8 reports the player appears in, including reports uploaded before this panel existed.
The panel never shows the battle reports themselves. If no uploaded report includes the player, the panel shows no commanders.

Find a player

Use the Find player search in the top bar to find a player without scrolling the map. Search by:
  • Player name
  • Alliance tag, for example [AL]
  • Governor ID, for example 12345678
Pick a result to open its Player tab. You can look up a governor ID even if that player is not in the current scan. The panel then shows Not in this scan instead of the city status. On phones, the top bar wraps so the search stays on screen.

Filter cities

Open the Layers panel to filter cities: The panel shows how many cities match your filters.

Layers

The Layers panel groups every map object into three groups. Turn each layer on or off.

Territory colours

Territories draw as outlines, the way the game draws them. Each alliance uses its in-game territory colour (red, orange, yellow, green, teal, navy, purple, or pink), and your own alliance uses the game’s darker own-alliance shade. Each alliance’s cities, flags, forts, borders, and legend swatch use the same colour.

Passes and holy sites

Each pass and holy site shows its in-game name and its holder, for example Lvl 7 Pass · ~A20 or Hieron of Steel. Holy sites are labelled at every zoom level. A grey label means no alliance holds it. Hover a player-held pass or holy site to see its garrison, captain first. The helper reads these garrisons after each complete scan. If a read fails, the hover card shows no garrison for that site. Sites held by non-player troops have no garrison to show.

Alliance flags and forts

Flags and forts are drawn in their alliance’s colour. The Flags layer shows the flag icons only. Turn on Flag land to also tint the square of land each flag covers, from zoom 0.6. The land a fort covers draws as an outline. Hover a flag or fort to see its garrison: the captain first (marked with ★ and Captain), then the players with the most troops, for example ”★ [AL] Lead 700”. Long garrisons end with “+N more”.

Alliance resource points

Alliance resource points appear from zoom 1.2. On maps with a map picture, the picture already shows each resource point’s icon. An owned point gets a ring in the owning alliance’s colour around that icon, and an unowned point gets no mark. On maps without a picture, each point is a small square in its resource’s colour (food, wood, stone, gold, or purple for crystal), edged in the owning alliance’s colour. Hover one to see its resource and alliance, for example Alliance Wood · ~A20 or Alliance Crystal · ~A20. The War Map does not show regular resource nodes, barbarians, barbarian forts, caves, or tribal villages.

Crystal tab

The Crystal tab in the drawer estimates how much crystal each alliance has and how many more flags it can build. Use it to judge which alliances can still expand their territory. Pick All camps or one camp at the top. Each alliance row shows: Click a row to see its crystal points, crystal per hour, flags built since the map opened, and crystal spent on flags. How the estimate works:
  • Every alliance enters the KvK map with no crystal, so the count starts when the map opened.
  • Each crystal point counts from the day its owner’s territory first covered it, where Sovereign Sigil has the land’s territory history. A point it cannot date counts from the helper’s first scan.
  • Flag costs are the game’s costs with maxed Architecture (25% off).
  • A value that is not known yet shows —, never 0. A crystal point shows Rates not read yet until the helper reads its rate.

Map picture and zoom

The War Map draws the map’s own picture under the scan. On Mighty Assembly and Song of Troy, the map loads sharper picture tiles as you zoom in, so resource point icons stay readable, and you can zoom to 12x instead of 6x.

Supported maps

The War Map draws the map your kingdom is currently on. It supports every KvK map and the Preparation Seasons:
  • Mighty Assembly, Endless War, Distant Journey, Light and Darkness, Heroic Anthem
  • King of All Britain (Season 3), King of All Britain (Season of Conquest)
  • King of the Nile, Siege of Orléans, Warriors Unbound, Storm of Stratagems, Tides of War
  • Alliance Invictus, Keener Blades, Song of Troy
  • Preparation Seasons 1–4
Mighty Assembly zones use their in-game names, for example Ceylon, Zarate, Wei Ji, Havana, Pasuruan, and Calcha. If the helper reads a map Sovereign Sigil does not recognise, the War Map draws the scan on a labelled grid.

War map in Discord

Type /kvk and pick War map. The private reply shows:
  • How long ago the map was scanned, and the map ID
  • City counts: total, Shielded, Unshielded, and Off territory
  • Flag and holy site counts
  • Passes held, listed per alliance
  • An Open the map link to the War Map in the app
Shield counts are as of now. Everything else is as of the scan. If your kingdom has not been scanned yet, the reply says “No map scan yet for this kingdom.”

Troubleshooting

  • Map looks old: The helper scans every 4 hours. Check Scanned Xh ago. A scan that stops partway does not replace the last complete one.
  • Pass or holy site has a generic name: New names take effect after the next complete scan.
  • No resource points visible: Zoom in to 1.2 or more and make sure Alliance resource points is on in Layers. On maps with a map picture, only owned points get a ring.
  • No flag land tint: Turn on Flag land in Layers. It is off by default.
  • Crystal tab shows —: The helper has not read that alliance’s crystal rates yet. Values fill in after the next scan that reads them.
  • Player panel shows no commanders: No uploaded battle report includes that player yet.
