# Vanguard pricing: license tiers, apps and client limits

> Compare Vanguard and Vanguard Hub license keys across Tier 1, Tier 1.5 and Tier 2, plus client limits, license lengths and what every key includes.

Every Vanguard license is a single key that sets three things: which **app** it unlocks, which **tier** of features it allows, and how many **clients** it can run at the same time. Pick the combination that fits how you play, then choose how long the key should last.

## Choose your app

Each key unlocks one app.

## Tiers

The tier decides which extra abilities your key allows.

## Clients

**Clients** is how many accounts one key runs at the same time. In Vanguard Hub, each running account counts as one client. Every key includes 1 client, and you can add more.

When you reach your limit, Vanguard Hub will not start another account.

## License length

Keys are issued for a set number of days and stop working on their expiry date. A new key's days count from the day you first use it, not the day it was made.

Keys come in lengths of 7, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days.

## What every key includes

* **Works on any PC.** Keys are not tied to one machine.
* **One running copy at a time.** A second copy of the same key is refused until the first one closes. A copy that crashes frees the key after 10 minutes.
* **Offline grace.** If your internet drops, the app keeps running for 30 minutes before it pauses and waits for a connection.
* **Renewals keep your setup.** Renewing adds days on top of your current expiry and keeps your app, tier and clients.

## FAQ

> **I bought a key before tiers existed. What do I have?**
>
> Older keys count as **Tier 2 with 1 client**, so you keep every feature you paid for.

> **Can I change my tier or add clients later?**
>
> Yes. Press **Contact us** in the Vanguard sidebar, pick **Billing & licenses**, and we will issue a new key with the tier and client count you want.
