# Dailies: claim free rewards and run daily modes

> Set up Vanguard's Dailies cards: free daily claims, Blacksmith materials, SVIP wheel, event and Expedition rewards, Sunset Canyon and the State Forum.

The **Dailies** page in Vanguard collects everything the game gives you for free each day and works through the daily modes you would otherwise forget. None of these features spend gems, keys or paid items. Each card has a switch, **Run now**, **Settings ▾**, an **Advanced** fold and **Test run — sends nothing**, as described on [Chores](/vanguard/features/chores.md).

## Daily claims

Claims the free daily rewards. Each claim has its own line with a switch, so you can turn single claims off:

* **VIP daily chest**
* **Free VIP points**
* **Tavern silver draw** (comes back every 5 minutes, up to ten a day)
* **Tavern gold draw** (every 2 days)
* **Tavern material draw** (every 2 days)
* **Legendary tavern draw** (once a day)
* **Mail attachments**
* **Store free gift**

Each line shows when it is next due and how many it has claimed today (for example "3/10 today" or "claimed today"). Vanguard only takes the free tavern draws, and only when the game shows the chest is free. If a reward is not ready, Vanguard simply tries again later. **Advanced** holds the timers and daily caps for each claim and how often to retry a refused claim.

## Material production

Collects finished materials at the Blacksmith and keeps its queue filled with the materials you pick. In **Settings ▾**, choose a material for each order slot (**Order 1** to **Order 5**), for example Leather, Iron Ore, Animal Bone or Ebony. Vanguard finds your Blacksmith by itself.

## SVIP wheel

Takes the SVIP Supreme wheel's free daily spin. Never a paid spin.

## Event rewards

Collects event item rewards, Expedition daily rewards and Æthelflæd heads.

>
> In **Advanced**, leave **Reward status that means ready to claim** at 0 unless you were told the value. At 0 Vanguard only looks at event rewards and claims nothing.

## Expedition rewards

Collects every finished Expedition stage reward.

| **Check every** | How often Vanguard looks. |

## Expedition shop

Buys the items you pick with Expedition coins and can use the free daily refresh. Never gems.

| Setting | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Buy every item of these types** | Tap item types to buy all items of that type. |
| **Add a specific item** | Type an item name, press **+ add**, then set **buy up to**. |
| **Use the free daily refresh** | Refreshes the shop once a day for free. |
| **Check every** | How often Vanguard looks at the shop. |

Run the card once with **Test run — sends nothing** to list what is in the shop right now. Each listed item shows its price and how many are left.

## Sunset Canyon

Uses up every Sunset Canyon ticket you have, fighting your alliance members with your saved line-up. It never buys a ticket.

| **Who to fight** | **The weakest opponent (surest win)**, or **The best-ranked opponent weaker than you (more points)**. |
| **Check every** | How often Vanguard looks. |

## State Forum travel

Uses the free State Forum travel chances. Never gems.

| **Most 10-draw travels per day** | Caps the 10-draw travels. |
| **Check every** | How often Vanguard looks. |

## State Forum dispatch

Collects finished State Forum dispatches and sends the best-reward quests first, with commanders that meet each quest's conditions, until the day's dispatches are used. If you are short of action points, it waits for them and then carries on.
