# Check your event sign-up in game or on Discord

> Make sure your event sign-up was saved. Type !signup status in the game chat or use My sign-ups in the /events menu on Discord to see every event you joined.

After you [sign up for an event](/events/sign-ups), you can check that your sign-up was saved. This is useful if you lost connection, the bot was slow to answer, or you are not sure you finished all the questions.

## What you see

You get one line for each event that [leadership](/leadership/overview) has not ranked yet. Open and closed events are both listed, newest first.

* **signed up** means your sign-up is saved.
* **not signed up** means there is no sign-up for you. Sign up again while the event is open.
* **(closed)** after a line means the event no longer takes new sign-ups.

For example:

  Events that already have ranks are not listed. To see your rank for those, type [`!rank`](/alliance/in-game-commands#for-members) in the game chat or use the `/events` menu on Discord.

## Check in the game chat

Type this in the game chat with the bot:

!signup status
```

You can also type `!signup check`. Both do the same thing.

To check one event only, add the event's tag. The tag is the short name [leadership](/leadership/overview) gives the event, like the `mge` in `!signupmge`.

## Check on Discord

1. Type `/events` in your kingdom's Discord server.
2. Select **My sign-ups**.
3. Optionally, enter an event tag to check one event only.

Discord shows the result for every governor you [linked](/getting-started/link-governor) to your Discord account. Only you can see the answer.

## If something looks wrong

* If an event says **not signed up** and it is still open, [sign up again](/events/sign-ups).
* If the event is closed, ask a [leader](/leadership/overview) to add you.
* If the bot says the status is unavailable, try again in a few minutes. The bot never shows "not signed up" when it cannot read your sign-up.
