# Manage Title Bot rules, locks, VIP priority, and bans

> Leaders configure the Title Bot with /titles-admin or Bot Settings: set how long players keep titles, lock titles, give VIPs priority, and punish or ban players.

Sovereign Sigil leaders control how the Title Bot hands out kingdom titles. Set the rules from Discord or the app, and handle problem players when needed. For how members request titles, see [Request kingdom titles](/alliance/titles).

    Use `/titles-admin` on Discord, or **Bot Settings** in the app's **Titles** tab.

    Choose how long a player keeps a title, lock titles, and give VIPs priority.

    Punish a player with a negative title, or ban them. A ban removes them from every queue and strips their current title.
