# Create kingdom events, build forms, and rank sign-ups

> Leaders create events in the Leadership tab or with /event-admin, build sign-up forms, rank players in the dashboard, message sign-ups, and turn on points watch.

Sovereign Sigil lets leaders build event sign-ups once and collect answers from the app, Discord, and in-game chat. This page covers creating an event, ranking players, and messaging sign-ups.

## Create an event

  <Step title="Open the builder">
    Go to [**Leadership tab**](/leadership/overview#the-leadership-tab) → **Events**, or use `/event-admin` on Discord.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the basics">
    Give it a title and description. Choose **Ranked** or **Request**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Build the form">
    Add questions: text, number, dropdown, checkbox, or screenshot. Mark any as required. Set a chat tag like `mge`.

  <Step title="Publish">
    Optionally set open/close dates, then tap **Publish**.
  </Step>

<Note>
  In-game sign-up only works if you turn it on for that event. Use `/signup-admin` on Discord.

## Review and rank

Open the **Sign-up Dashboard**:

* Compare answers side by side in the Applicant Matrix.
* Drag players into rank order. Tap **Set ranks** to freeze them.
* Edit one player's answers at any time.

## Message sign-ups

From **Tell the alliance**, send a message to all sign-ups, ranked players, unranked players, or specific IDs. Choose in-game DM, mail, or both.

## Points watch

Turn on **Points watch** from the event dashboard to warn players automatically when they get close to their cap.
