# Create KvK events, capture snapshots, and review players

> Leaders use /kvk-admin to create KvK events, take start and end snapshots, review underperformers, manage the Hall of Horrors, and archive finished seasons.

Sovereign Sigil gives R4 and R5 leaders `/kvk-admin` tools to run Kingdom versus Kingdom (KvK) tracking. Create the season, capture snapshots, follow up with underperformers, and archive results when the season ends. For how members view KvK stats, see [KvK (members)](/alliance/kvk).

## Create a KvK event

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create the event">
    In Discord, type `/kvk-admin` and pick **Create a KvK event**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the season details">
    Enter the season name, map, camp, and date range so the event is labeled correctly for members.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Capture snapshots

Snapshots record the alliance state at a moment in time. Take a start snapshot when the season begins, and an end snapshot when it closes.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start snapshot">
    Type `/kvk-admin` and pick **Snapshot: start** to mark the beginning of the season and capture baseline stats.
  </Step>

  <Step title="End snapshot">
    Pick **Snapshot: end** when the season closes to record final stats.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload a file (optional)">
    Pick **Snapshot: upload a file** to import an Excel file with KP data, or **Snapshot: one player** to enter a single governor's stats by hand.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Review underperformers

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open underperformers">
    Type `/kvk-admin` and pick **Underperformers**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set targets">
    The view lists governors below the configured target. Use this to follow up with members who may need support.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Manage the Hall of Horrors

The Hall of Horrors is a shared list of kingdoms your alliance chooses to avoid. Entries sync between Discord and the app's War Room.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add a kingdom">
    Type `/kvk-admin` and pick **Hall of Horrors: add**. Enter the kingdom number, a reason, and an optional nickname and severity (Never ally or Caution).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pull leadership data">
    Pick **Hall of Horrors: who rules** to queue a fresh read of that kingdom's top alliances and R5/R4s from the game.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Remove or list">
    Pick **Hall of Horrors: remove** to delete an entry, or **Hall of Horrors** (list) to view the full hall.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  If a Hall of Horrors entry is missing leadership info, use **who rules** to queue a fresh pull. The bot reads the game in the background, so results may take a moment to appear.
</Tip>

## Archive a finished KvK

When a KvK ends, archive it. Once archived:

* The dashboard, card strip, Discord `/kvk` > **Governor stats**, and in-game `!stats` show results frozen at the last snapshot.
* Leaderboards and stats cards for that season cannot change.
* The daily scan continues running at 23:00 UTC to keep power and KP fresh for the current season, but archived rows stay locked.
